About us
Our Mission
The mission of the Wayne County Youth Football League is to provide a safe, structured, and positive environment where young athletes can learn the fundamentals of football and cheer while developing character, discipline, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship.
We are committed to building more than athletes. We want to help shape confident, respectful, and hardworking young people who understand the value of commitment, accountability, and community pride. Through dedicated coaching, strong family involvement, and support from our volunteers and local schools, we strive to create a program that encourages every child to grow both on and off the field.
Our goal is to strengthen youth athletics across Wayne County by creating a clear pathway from our youth league to the middle school and high school programs. By teaching proper fundamentals, promoting participation, and building a culture of pride and unity, we hope to support the future success of Wayne County football, cheer, and athletics for years to come.
